DANCEFEST Registration

Greetings Dance Educators!

Thank you for your patience as you waited for the much-anticipated Dancefest 2027 information!

Our information is coming out a little later this year because we have been working behind the scenes on a brand-new registration platform that we believe will make the process much smoother for everyone.

A huge shoutout to OSSDF Board Member Christina Kemp, who has worked tirelessly on this new platform. Christina also created our adjudication platform, which has been a huge success, and we are incredibly grateful for her work.

NEW FOR 2027: Registration Platform

STEP 1: Create Your Teacher Account

You must do this before you can access the registration platform.

CREATE TEACHER ACCOUNT

Once your account has been created, you will receive your username and password. Creating your teacher account is NOT your Dancefest event registration.

STEP 2: Log In and Register Your School

Once you have your username and password, log in here:

DANCEFEST REGISTRATION PORTAL

From the portal, you can register your school for the 2027 event, register participants and teachers/chaperones, manage your information and download invoices instantly.

Need help getting started? Here is our quick-start video on creating an account and registering your school for Dancefest 2027.

STEP 3: Learn the Portal

There are lots of helpful features available when registering dancers and dance entries, including editing options that should make the process easier for both teachers and the Dancefest team.

We will host a Registration Portal Training Session and Information meeting on:

Monday, October 5th at 8:00 p.m. over ZOOM.

Meeting ID: 857 7469 4087. Passcode: 453959.

Can’t attend? We will record it and send the video afterward.

Please bear with us as we work through any early kinks together. We truly believe this platform will streamline the process for everyone.

IMPORTANT: Updated Leveling Guidelines

We have made significant updates to the language and guidelines used to level individual dancers and dance entries.

Please review the updated document BEFORE registering your dancers and entries, as this information is also reflected directly in the registration portal.

As announced last year, we will also be providing additional education, examples and supporting materials to help teachers make these decisions with their students. Stay tuned!

Our goal is to support consistent choices so dancers are participating at the level that best reflects their training, experience and performance ability, while ensuring everyone feels valued and appropriately challenged.
